Several weeks ago, I attended a horse vaulting show in which my daughter was competing.
Vaulting is a very old equestrian discipline that evolved in Europe as a training prerequisite for military horsemanship or, as it is called these days, dressage.
Vaulting consists of many required, as well as free style moves, on the back of a cantering draft or warmblood horse. It is watching someone perform a combination of dance and gymnastic body movements set to music on horseback.
Needless to say such performances keep the spectator literally on the edge of their seat. You will find, at the end of a performance, your heart beating faster and your breath short and excited. You notice this after the performance because during the performance your focus is on the rider.
One of the fathers of a competitor commented to me; “I got tired watching”.
Tired from watching I thought…
How could a person get tired, stressed and out of sorts by sitting and watching a horse show?
The answer is found on page 31 of Megachest, “Two Classes of Breathers”.
The concept is very interesting and very true as well.
From this day forward, focus on two things at once instead of one.
Once mastered, you will enjoy a new way of SEEING as well as improved health.

I had an interesting conversation with a good friend of mine a few weeks ago. We were talking about how people evolve mentally, emotionally and ultimately physically.
Have you ever noticed, I asked, sometimes when you read something and all of a sudden you feel a sensation in your gut or it causes you to pause and say to yourself, that is truth.
My friend thinks that we are born with certain truths and natural understanding. In other words we are given knowledge and we grow into it as our lives progress.
As we receive and discover answers we evolve into a higher state of consciousness, this could be a desire to accomplish more (motivation) or to create (invention) maybe work for a better cause
(leadership).
People who have come to greatness already had it within themselves to be great. They produced inventions that changed the world, leadership that created our history and future.
I believe that there is greatness in everyone….
A young martial arts student was in awe of the vastness of his Master’s knowledge, he asked the Master, “How is it that you know all of these things, Master?” The Master, understanding that all knowledge is present, said to the young student, “How is it that you do not?”
Mental focus can give the student (we are all students) a pathway to knowledge. Go to page 39 of the “ Megachest” course and practice exercise 17. You will experience a calmness that will let you SEE. Do this exercise every day (morning is best, before breakfast) for two weeks and it will change your life greatly for the better.
Master your destiny.

I received an email from a client, Roma Pohorecky. The sound of a true Cossack name that resonates from your stomach.
Roma wrote; Hi Rhinoman, I figure you are a busy guy but I need direction. I have the Megachest course and I get the basic workout, but there are a lot of breathing exercises covered in your book. Chest expansion appeals to me so I want to start as soon as possible.
Can you give me a guide, an ABC approach so to speak. I love this course, you would not believe how bad my breathing is, shallow and totally belly, I hold my breath all the time.
Roma also wrote about health problems due to an encounter with a criminal, got hurt, but the Canadian health system didn’t offer the help necessary for full recovery. Roma said “I now must take my health into my own hands”.
Roma, I suggest that you start with the Megachest program as presented in the course on page1. Most of the breathing exercises I teach in the workout program are designed for the specific purpose of chest cavity expansion along with abdominal wall strength building and muscle development.
There will come a time when the Megachest workout exercises seem to flow without excessive effort. At that time step up to the intermediate level workout and begin experimenting with the breathing exercises outside of the Megachest workout. The breathing exercises start at “Increasing the Range” on page 33.
The breathing exercises get progressively harder as you proceed through the book. The breathing exercises are a course in themselves. Progression through the breathing exercises after the Megachest workout is extremely demanding both physically and mentally, the Megachest workout will prepare you for that next step.
I hope this information helps those with the Megachest course. For those of you who do not know what we are talking about, I suggest a visit to www.rhinomanprod.com buy the course and change your life forever.
Enjoy your life to the fullest, penetrate your barriers never, never, quit.

Did you know that fire works were invented by the Chinese? After they discovered gun powder they figured out all kinds of ways to visually and audibly entertain with the “magic powder”.
That was one of many thoughts I had while watching two fireworks shows on the 3rd and 4th of July. The more dominant thought was the reason… Why was I able to sit on that blanket with my family in that field and enjoy some of the most fascinating fireworks displays I have seen to date?
The fire works represent the visions and sounds of battle. The rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air. And our flag was still there… Another thought was the incredible sacrifice this country makes in lives and material so that we can say our flag is still here.
I received an email the other day; Rhinoman, why didn’t you number the pages on the MEGA-CHEST exercise course?
Good question. Well, I was so intent on assimilating the perfect workout that I missed numbering the pages. Bad answer.
No worries, for those of you who have books without numbers, number the pages starting with page 1 on the page that reads “MEGA-CHEST”, this is the first page with my picture, and it is after the introduction and disclaimer. In the future when describing
an area of training or concern, I will not only give the page number but also describe the topic. We can get through this.
Back to the salt mine… For most of us, going back to work means long hours away from home and plenty of unwanted and undeserved stress.
Fortunately for those of you with MEGA-CHEST you can go to page 39 and get rid of this stress by reading: Calming the nerves, and using breathing exercise 17.
For those of you who are stressed and no longer enjoy this way of life, go to
www.rhinomanprod.com order MEGACHEST and enjoy the best of your life.
Enjoy your life to its fullest; penetrate your barriers, never quit.

I remember when I was a youngster, no, my best friend wasn’t Barney Rubble but what I have to say will definitely date me.
The sounds of the summer back then were: Bob Dylan and the Beatles, they had just premiered on the Ed Sullivan show; air raid sirens test sounding off every Friday at 12 noon; Cushman scooters passing by; the jingle of the of the ice cream truck.
Our ice cream guy would let us sit in his truck with him until we got on his nerves then he would tell us to buy something or get out, so we got out.
The summer days in Colorado were usually bright, clear and sunny; filled with unplanned adventure, one thing led to another until the day ended and the evening routine would start. After dinner we would go downstairs and watch ‘Leave it to Beaver’ on the black and white. Whose turn is it to change the channel?
I used to race electric slot cars. On the weekends I would get up early in the morning tell my folks where I was headed and rode across town to the slot car track. In the early afternoon I rode back across town and got home just in time to eat lunch.
After lunch I would scramble to my room pick up the box of shells my Dad bought for me at the hardware store, pick up my 22 rifle and meet my friends at the sand quarry for an afternoon of plinking. Plinking was shooting at cans and other interesting targets.
After the day was over, the conversation usually started with “Hi Mom, what’s for dinner?” Mom would mumble the menu and ask me how my day was, my response was usually the same, “fine”. I would tell Dad about the cool cars I saw at the track and how one of my friends found a cherry bomb in his dad’s drawer and how we lit it off under a coffee can.
I would imagine that many of you have similar stories…
Do you let your kids ride with the ice cream man?
My kids go nowhere without their cell phone, in case of an emergency or the constant drill, what they are doing and who they are doing it with.
How about the gun…..?
Times have certainly changed, haven’t they?
For better or for worse?

I remember several weeks ago or maybe it was a month and a half ago, you know how it is when you search your mind for a place in time it’s almost dream like…
The air is crisp and I remember saying to myself as I stood at the bottom of the mountain trail I often trained on. I wonder how long it will take me to get to the top and I need to hurry so I can get the ten thousand things done that I had to do at home.
My dogs where so used to the same old redundant drill that they seemed on autopilot in front of me zig zagging in and out of the woods the same as they had done ever since I started this hill climbing exercise regiment.
Wham!! A thought flashed into my mind!!!
I was treating this vital part of my day as a regiment a routine, a drill. This realization completely changed my approach to my workouts weather it is on the trail or any other situation.
My dilemma, I realized, I was waiting to finish the workout pushing through it. I had discovered the center, a place where the only thing that I was focusing on was the experience, the journey.
Back to the trail. With this new train of thought I began using the breathing exercise and the metering methods I use in Megachest. The results where astonishing my breathing and body movement were in unison, synchronized. While in the center there was no time frame when I had completed my workout I was done.
The dogs still don’t get it; they kept the same old drill in and out of the woods. Dogs.
Best regards,

Happy people are large breathers if their good nature is not balanced by periods of despondency. So the cure of moods, blues and gloomy states of mind, may be found in the development of large chest, full lungs and outdoor habits, where the crisp good nature of air, sunshine and growing life may be imbibed in every breath. The theory has been proved to be true in hundreds of changed lives. People that shift from indoor seclusion to outdoor life and involve themselves in physical culture will often change from poor health to good health and a radiant positive disposition and well being.

However well formed the upper half of the torso may be, its health and beauty of form are dependent upon the abdominal walls. Let us select ten thousand men and women, of eaqual numbers if you will, and take a preliminary view of their general shape.
None may be called out of health, and all would expect to pass successfully an examination on a life insurance application.
Ask any one of these ten thousand persons to take a full breath and let it out speedily, and the defective chest will appear at once by its drop. Again ask one to sit, and the chest will fall of itself, causing the abdomen to bulge forward slightly.
Ask anyone to stand and raise the chest, and the shoulders will be elevated instead.
Let any number sit and read, write, or converse, and the chest will drop down on the abdomen, causing a tendency to flat upper fronts and round shoulders, besides producing ill health by reason of cramping and deforming the organs.

It may be surprising to learn how great an influence the chest has upon the general carriage of the body, and its good and bad forms. It is by its development, and no other way, that the ideal human form is is obtained; it is to its lack of development, and in no other way, that the many ill shapes of the body are due. In subsequent lessons the analysis of these propositions will be found.

The most common mistake made in breathing is to inhale a deep breath and pay no attention to the exhalation. The chest and organs are thrown into a bad shape and left there. Every deep breath should be preceded by an emptying of the lungs.
If you get a glass of water you first throw out the water that has been standing in the glass. If you desire pure air, why inhale it upon the lungs when they are half full of dead air? It is true that a complete expiration prepares the way for a long, large draught of air.
